We’ll dream it, dream it for free, free money, free money
It would certainly be nice to have some free money. Patti suggests a couple of scenarios for buying her love “the things you never had,” from winning the lottery to using stolen funds. The media has been reporting throughout the recession on worries that crimes would rise in pursuit of some of that free money, both because of police budget cuts for preventative programs and because of desperation and opportunism.
For the most part though, free money is just what Patti says– in our dreams.
